"Fork and Knife" Ceasar Salad

As you have probably figure out, we like to eat... Ok maybe I like to eat. I know, this is not a good then when you want to lose weight.... :) Either way, WHENEVER Zhenya and I go out to eat we ALWAYS order fried calamari if the restaurant serves them. We absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. Sometime we will go out to eat to a specific restaurant just because they have good calamari. Well... if you ever come down to "Home of the Lobster", Portland, Maine that is... you have to go and have dinner at "Walter's". This place is amazing :) They have absolutely the best calamari. Even if you don't like seafood, they have great steak, pasta dishes, lobster and AMAZING Creme Brulee. Well... one time we were walking around Portland and decided to treat ourselves to some calamari from Walter's, even though we already had dinner (you see what I am saying? We like to eat :)) This was also like past 9pm... :) Anyways... we sat down and ordered our favorite calamari and also the "Fork and Knife Ceaser Salad". The funny thing is that it was just regular ingredients that make up a ceaser salad but presented in a "fancy" way. We loved it. So... what I am trying to get to is... if you are ever preparing a special meal or you want to fancy things up a bit... make this "Fork and Knife Ceaser Salad". It takes like 3 minutes, and looks fancy-ish :)

To serve two....
All you need is:
About 6 whole leaves of Romaine lettuce
Croutons
Ceaser Dressing
About 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1. Gently pull of as many or as few leaves of Romaine lettuce as you need.
2. Rinse them and pat dry
3. Arrange neatly on a dish
4. Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese and croutons inside each leaf
5. Drizzle with dressing
6. Serve with a knife and fork :) (Or like my husband, pick up the leaf with your hand and eat it just like that... :)
